Square Enix this week confirms that Bravely Default II has sold over one million units since launch back on February 26 earlier this year. The third installment in the "Bravely" JRPG series (despite what the name suggests!) was initially released as timed exclusive for the Nintendo Switch before hitting PC on September 2nd. The cumulative sales figures include both physical and digital sales worldwide.
Bravely II had already sold over 950,000 copies on the Switch platform alone as of late August 2021, and the PC release no doubt helped push those lifetime sales figures to reach that hallmark million milestone at last. Square Enix intends on celebrating the achievement by offering a 30 percent discount on Bravely II which starts today and runs until January 17th, at least for the Japanese market.
